Established since 2003, Encore Films Pte Ltd is a leading independent film distributor in Singapore with the aim of bringing quality movies to our audience.  

Our Achievements

We tasted success with our very first theatrical release -- a Korean horror called "Wishing Stairs" -- which became the all-time number 1 Korean movie in Singapore then.   Since then, we have consistently released Korean blockbusters and some notable titles are "Brotherhood-Taegukgi", "April Snow", "Typhoon" and "I'm A Cyborg But That's Ok".

In 2006, we released the hugely popular Death Note movie series and "Death Note 2 the Last name" has gone on to become the all-time number 1 Japanese movie in Singapore.  Besides our creditable track record in Korean and Japanese movies, we have also extended our distribution to include Chinese and English titles.  The year 2008 marks the release of our biggest Hollywood blockbuster, "The Forbidden Kingdom" starring action megastars Jackie Chan and Jet Li.
