Action film The Forbidden Kingdom, starring Jackie Chan and Jet Li, collected $1.53 million at the Singapore weekend box office. It is the second biggest opening weekend film this year, behind Stephen Chow’s dramedy CJ 7 ($2 million), which opened over the Chinese New Year holidays.
